PAST EVENTS:

September 2008 - Welcome Mixer

Alumni welcomed the new class at a mixer held at The Classic Club, catered by Rattlesnake Restaurant.  Paul Blanchand and team of A New Team Adventure "speed introduced" new class members to each other.

February 2008 - Mixer with Motivation

Held at Toscana County Club, after mixing and mingling, the group hear nationally known coach John Mackovic speaking on leadership and motivation.

September 2007 - Welcome Mixer

Alumni welcomed the new class and heard John Soulliere, the CEO of the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership, speak about development in the valley.  The mixer was held at Desert Willow Golf Resort.

March 2007 - Eco-Mixer

Held at the Palm Desert Visitor Center, a LEED certified building, with special guest speakers Ted Lennon, Senior Vice President, Lowe Destination Development, Inc. and Lance O'Donnell, AIA, o2 Architecture .  Mixing and mingling with beverages provided by the City of Palm Desert.      

November 2006 - Alumni Mixer

Held at The Mod Resort in Palm Desert
An evening of food, fun and reconnecting with alumni and current students.

June 2006 - Community Outreach Project

Located at Martha's Village and Kitchen
Martha's Village was overrun by many eager volunteers helping spruce up the place.

March 2006 - Evening of Fine Wine, Food & Music

Held at Treasures of the Vine, Appetizers by The Falls Prime Steakhouse with Guitarist Todd Hodulik

January 2006 - Kick off Mixer with Guest Speaker

Located at Bighorn with special guest speaker: Dick Heckmann
CEO of K2 Inc., founder and former CEO of US Filter, an owner of the NBA's Phoenix Suns and benefactor ($6 million) to UCR Palm Desert's Heckmann Center for International Entrepreneurial Management

The main purpose of the Alumni Association is to foster continued and meaningful interaction among the members of the various classes and to stimulate networking among the classes.
